NIGERIAN DWARF BUCKS
We place paramount
importance upon our buck lines.
We wether
virtually all bucklings born from first freshening does, with an occasional
very rare exception.
We only keep bucks
in tact (for sale, or to retain within our herd) after considerable pedigree
consideration and evaluation of the buckling’s conformation as well as his
dam’s udder and his paternal grand dam’s udder. A buck will only be left intact
and bear our herd name if all of our stringent criterion are satisfied.
We do make our
bucks available for breeding service by private arrangement on a very limited
basis. Please email us for more information, restrictions, breeding contract
and fee schedule.

Color Me Happy is the son of the esteemed Flat Rocks Gem and grandson of MCH Flat Rocks Surprise *D. Gem passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Day of 2006 leaving behind an amazing legacy. In his lifetime, Gem sired 90% does as well as 90% polled offspring. Color Me Happy was one of his rare polled buck offspring. He is a solid and powerful buck. "Happy" is long, level, wide and stands on great legs and feet. "Happy" is triple line bred on one of the best known and most influential early bucks in the Nigerian Dwarf Breed, Goodwood Z Ali-Babba +*S.

breed: ARMCH
Goodwood Kauri Tree ++*S 'E' and Goodwood Alamo Messenger ++S. Several of his daughters
have earned championship legs in herds across the country, and his daughter MCH Pride of Texas Sadie Elva has already earned her
Champion status in AGS and is on her way to earning her Championship title in
ADGA as well. "Army"
as he is nicknamed is a powerful, solid buck standing on excellent feet and
legs. He joined our herd in late 2007, and his first kids at Avolino Farm
started arriving in late May of 2008. Beyond producing consistent show worthy
offspring, he also throws moonspots.

and has tight shoulders. He is the product of two exceptional Flat Rocks Farms

and Flat Rocks Mercedes. We are so pleased
with him and his kids that we have literally retained all of his registered
kids save for one buck and one doe that we sold to good friends. Hummer will hit the show circuit in 2008.

ADGA Sr. RGCH in 2006 and has an excellent, well-attached udder, is deep and
