Q: Aren’t there different Udderly EZ Milkers for different breeds of livestock?

A: No. There is just one Udderly EZ Milker. It was invented to extract colostrum from Mares after they foaled. Eventually, it became apparent that the Udderly EZ worked on many other breeds of livestock including donkeys, sheep, goats, miniature horses and cows as well as exotic animals such as alpacas, llamas, and zebra. There are accessories that make milking different breeds easier however such as quart collection bottles and the Standard and Dwarf Goat/Sheep Extraction Tube Inserts/Inflations. You have the flexibility of building a package that suits your particular and unique needs. You are not forced to purchase prepackaged kits.

Q: How does the Udderly EZ Milker work?

A: The Udderly EZ Milker ‘s extraction tube (and possibly the appropriate silicone rubber insert) is slipped over the lactating animal’s teat and when the milker trigger is pumped just a few times, a seal is created against the udder and the vacuum created by the pumping action opens the teat’s seal and milk begins streaming out into the collection bottle. The extraction tube is designed to contour to the natural curvature of the udder, making for a comfortable fit for your animal. The Standard and Dwarf Goat/Sheep Inserts are available to accommodate the varying sized teats of goats and sheep allowing for an optimal fit when milking. If you are purchasing your Udderly EZ Milker for goats or sheep, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND the appropriate insert for your breed of livestock to maximize the success you enjoy while using the Udderly EZ Milker.

Q: How long has the Udderly EZ Milker been around?

A: The inventor of the Udderly EZ Milker spent many years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in the design, testing, and eventual manufacturing of the Udderly EZ Milker. Per personal conversations I have had with him, he said he waited nearly 5 years before releasing the unit for sale to the general public to be sure it would fulfill everyone’s expectations.

Q: Hand milking often results in hand fatigue, will this device help to reduce hand fatigue?

A: Customers who suffer from arthritis, tendonitis, fibro-myalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome and other hand ailments have all praised the Udderly EZ Milker as being a salvation when it comes to reducing hand fatigue. The milker works via hand pumping to create the vacuum, however, this hand action is limited compared to the required repetitive hand motion from traditional milking.

Q: Does the Udderly EZ Milker work on Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Mini-breeds, or Pygmies?

A: Yes! Some dwarf goats who have easily milkable teats can be milked with either of the extraction tubes that come with your Udderly EZ Milker kit. However, for the dwarf goats and standard goats with small teats, there is a soft, Silicone/Rubber insert available separately that allows even these smaller breeds to benefit from the Udderly EZ Milker. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you choose to purchase the appropriate accessories to ensure you will enjoy success when utilizing your Udderly EZ Milker.

Q: How easy is the Udderly EZ Milker to assemble and clean?

A: It will take you longer to unpack your milker kit that it will to assemble. The Udderly EZ Milker is easy to assemble and its components are made of impact resistant plastic. In fact, it is designed to disassemble into its component parts if dropped. To clean, you simply disassemble, and wash the unit with warm soapy water and let air-dry. (Do not submerge the pump.) The bottles are also made of plastic and are easily rinsed and washed by hand with warm soapy water. Complete care and cleaning instructions are included with your kit.

Q: How do I order the Udderly EZ Milker?

A: Simply email me at chrisbove@avolinofarm.com. Let me know what you would like to order and your zip code. I will return your email with a confirmation of your order. Once you receive the confirmation, simply review it for its accuracy and return it to me with your shipping address. Once I receive your confirmation, I will process your order. If paying via Pay Pal, I will also send a payment request email; you follow the simple instructions provided by Pay Pal in order to remit payment. Once payment is made, your order ships either USPS Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground whichever is cheaper (International Buyers: Email me for shipping quotes.) Priority Mail usually takes 2-3 business days for delivery, Fed Ex Ground usually 3-4days. If you are not in a rush, your purchase can be shipped via USPS Parcel Post. It is the least expensive method of shipping but takes about 7 business days in transit. If mailing payment via check or money order, once payment is received, it will be deposited. Once check or money clears, your purchase will be shipped. I strive to return all emails within 48 hours of receipt, but at times this is not always possible. If your order is urgent, please start the title of your email with the word “URGENT” in capital letters and I will attempt to give it priority when responding to emails. If for some reason I am unavailable or out of town, you will receive an email auto responder message explaining when I will return and when you can expect a response to your email. As we attend numerous livestock exhibitions and animal product trade shows promoting the Udderly EZ Milker, our travel schedule sometimes prevents us access to our email.
